Clare is a registered Occupational Therapist with a specialist interest in paediatrics and mental health. Since graduating from Curtin University in 2012, Clare has worked towards achieving her long standing goal of bringing a unique paediatric service, namely Wheatbelt Occupational Therapy, back to the country.

Growing up in and later returning to the country, Clare has a strong affiliation with country families and believes regardless of where a person lives they are entitled to accessible, specialised and professional healthcare.

Clare's professional knowledge of child social-emotional development, sensory processing and formal training in Child Centered Play Therapy, in conjunction with her personal experiences as both a stepmother and a mother, provides Clare with a unique set of skills to assist children and families struggling with a range of social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Clare’s primary goal as a therapist is to establish a relationship with her clients based on trust, safety and unconditional acceptance as children need to feel deeply accepted, heard and understood before they can open up and truly express themselves on a level which will lead to meaningful change.
