Clare is a cis-gendered woman aiming to create an open and non-judgmental space for all members of our community.

​

Clare is a registered Occupational Therapist with a specialist interest in paediatrics and mental health. Since graduating from Curtin University in 2012, Clare has worked towards achieving her long standing goal of bringing a unique paediatric service, namely Wheatbelt Occupational Therapy, to the country. 

​

Clare's professional knowledge of child social-emotional development, sensory processing integration and formal training in Child Centered Play Therapy, Informed Internal Family Systems Therapy & introductory training in Amplitude Neurofeedback; along with her personal experiences as a Step Mum and Mum, provides her with a unique set of skills to assist children and families working through a range of social, emotional, behavioral and situational challenges.

Clare’s primary goal as a therapist is to establish a relationship with her clients based on genuine trust, safety and unconditional acceptance as children need to feel fully accepted, heard and understood before they can open up and truly express themselves on a level which will lead to meaningful change.
